Sarah-Jane Thomas, LLC d/b/a EduMatch (“EduMatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides professional learning, publishing, event production, and related services to educators, districts, and organizations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information through our website at edumatch.org (the “Website”) and related online services. By accessing or using any areas of our Website or otherwise interacting with EduMatch, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

You may browse the Website without providing personally identifiable information. When you interact with us (for example, register for events, sign up for communications, purchase services, or contact us), we may collect:

Personal information (PII)
Full name, title/organization, mailing address, email address, phone number, billing and invoicing information, communications you share (including survey or form responses), and any other information you voluntarily provide.

IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referral and exit pages, page views, cookies and similar technologies, and aggregated or de-identified usage data.

Google & YouTube, PayPal, IngramSpark, Amazon KDP, Zoom, Vimeo, Stripe, QuickBooks, and Relay Financial.

6. Payments & financial information

EduMatch does not accept payments directly on the Website. When payments are processed (for example via invoices or partner checkouts), third-party payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, QuickBooks, and Relay Financial handle payment card data in accordance with applicable security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS). 7. Cookies, tracking & Do Not Track

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, local storage and similar technologies to collect information about your visit, remember preferences, and provide a better experience. You may manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may limit certain Website features.

We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is not yet a universally accepted standard for responding to them. You can limit tracking through browser privacy settings and vendor opt-outs.

8. Email and SMS communications

Email: We may send marketing, transactional, and service communications. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link so you can opt out at any time.

SMS/Text: If you opt in, we may send SMS messages with marketing or transactional information. Message frequency varies and standard message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS, text “STOP” to the number that sent the messages. For help, text “HELP” or contact info@edumatch.org.

9. Children & school/district data

The Website is intended for a general audience and is not designed for children under 18. If you are under 18, you may use the Website only with parental or guardian involvement.

EduMatch does not collect, store, or process personally identifiable student education records on behalf of schools or districts.

10. Data retention

EduMatch retains personal information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods include:

  • Account/profile data: retained while your account is active and for up to 3 years after account closure for business and legal purposes.

  • Transaction and invoice records: retained for 7 years for accounting and tax compliance.

  • Marketing lists: retained until you opt out or unsubscribe.

  • Analytics & logs: raw logs retained for 24 months; aggregated or de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely.

If you request deletion of your personal information, we will comply to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to our need to retain certain information for legal or legitimate business purposes.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and vendor security assessments. EduMatch relies on lawful bases such as contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interests, and consent (where required).
